At Sadie’s Hope we understand the importance of community-based recovery. Many of us, through addiction, have lost the very things that grounded us. Relationships - with God, friends, family and ourselves were damaged; and along with it, our belief that we were worth something and that we could create a life of purpose.
Together, and guided by our faith in action, we are given the unique opportunity to find out who we were meant to be before addiction ravaged our hopes, dreams, and lives. We believe that as we go through the experience of recovery, we will come to re-learn (or in some cases learn for the first time) how to become the best version of ourselves while working through a program that focuses on spirit, soul, body, as well as providing life skills that didn’t serve us well in a life of addiction.
Through the sharing of our lives together, we come to understand how vital creating an environment of healthy living is.
We understand the different aspects of a woman's recovery and want to help grow each and every one To meet their specific goals. We believe by working closely with other organizations and are proud members of SCARR (South Carolina Alliance for Recovery Residences) that work to ensure standards of care in recovery homes. We are dedicate to provide counseling and various resources to each woman who walks through our doors and to show them love, grace and compassion no matter their background.
Sadie's Hope is built in honor of Sadie Bolos. A woman who opened her doors to the hurting and lost, who made everyone feel like family, and created a sense of community with all those she met. She made her mark in the legacy she left behind and showed us all what real Christianity in action looked like.
